Looking Forward to Meeting You

Hey guys... I am a down-to-earth and easygoing kind of person, and although I have a lot of life experience, much of which is the difficulty and strife that can make a man cynical and bitter, I have never started to feel like my enthusiasm for and interest in discovering the insights and often amazing details of my fellow man's own journeys through life. Conversation, exploration, sharing of the ideas and experiences we have tucked away inside of us-- these things are not lost arts to me, but the foundation of the kind of time spent with another that make all the troublesome parts of life seem worth it. No matter who you are, I think that sense of vacation, time away from time is precious, and this is an almost magical way to access that kind of valuable and refreshing evening whenever you might want or need to. It can sooth and heal, but more than that, uplift, inspire, and rejuvenate... If you feel like you have been missing something, or that you have not been able to get free of your burdens just to breathe a little and remember who you are in so long it's hard to say for sure when you last felt that way-- there's no clearer sign that you need to do this; make that time for yourself. Everything and everyone else will still be there afterwards, but all the things that depend on you, well, they need you to be everything that you are at your best. Consider the time you spend with me to be that kind of maintenance and restoration without which anything beautiful, complex, or capable will fall apart.
